Felipe Carrasco

Felipe grew up in Iowa City, IA, as the youngest of three siblings. Most of his days as a little one were spent on the soccer field where he began his career in playing make-believe: practices were not just practices - but World Cup Championships where the Soccer God's struck with fervor. Outside the drama on the field, Felipe did manage to find his way to the theater, donning a cow suit as he sang Snoopy's 'Suppertime' in a local Children’s show. In truth though, his first entrance into the dramatic art of acting was long before all this: when his older sister had him play the lead role of Chucky in a classic hand-held, homemade family video. His emergence from the family cabinet made for a cinematic moment that stuck with him to this day. Fast forward to his twenties, after playing three years of Division I Collegiate Soccer, Felipe finally found his way back to the stage and camera at the University of Iowa. From there, he continued his pursuit of Acting in both Iowa and Chicago, eventually playing Jason in the Goodman Theatre’s production of Sweat, before heading down to Southern Methodist University to work toward his MFA in Acting. He is beyond excited to enter back into the industry and continue his career in film, TV, and on the stage – doing what he loves to do in all three. Select favorite credits include: Jason (Sweat), Estragon (Waiting for Godot), Lynx (Sender), Nick (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf), Diego (The Madres), Lovborg (Hedda Gabler), Luciana/Dromio of E. (Bomb-Itty of Errors), Thesus/Oberon (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Cassio (Othello, The Moor of Venice), Antipholous of S. (Comedy of Errors). Chicago Representation: Grossman and Jack Talent.
